In the wake of the reality competition’s renewal, the ‘Glee’ starlet has signed on as a guest mentor.
When The Glee Project starts its sophomore season on Oxygen this summer, the new batch of Glee hopefuls will be taking lessons from none other than Lea Michele! “So excited to announce that I’ll be guest mentoring on the season 2 premiere of the Glee Project,” tweeted the multiple award nominee on Jan. 21.
With her appearance, Michele joins the growing ranks of Glee stars offering up advice to the aspiring stars. Last season’s crop of guest mentors includes Glee fan favorites Darren Criss, Idina Menzel, and Kevin McHale.
Of her stint as guest mentor, Michele tweeted: “I[t] was such an amazing experience! All the kids are so talent[ed]! Can’t wait for you guys to see it!”

I’m sure the contestants loved having here there to give advice! I think Corey M would be a great mentor – he came from a pretty normal background so I’m sure he’d be a good influence and have advice for the hopefuls…please keep us posted on any other fun guests :)
