An inside source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Heidi left Seal to protect her kids from his controlling behavior!
Although their split was shocking, sources say that Seal was a “diva” who “treated people poorly”, so Heidi Klum left to take her children away from his negativity!
“Heidi’s first priority has always been her marriage, but she felt like Seal wasn’t meeting her halfway,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She had to take drastic measures to show Seal she wouldn’t put up with his behavior anymore. Raising happy and healthy kids is now her number one priority!”
The source described Seal as having “entitlement” issues and an explosive temper. For example, she said that Seal has a room at home full of vintage cameras, and if anyone goes inside he goes “ballistic”. However, like we reported earlier, their separation doesn’t necessarily mean divorce. The source says the threat alone may be enough to convince Seal to get help with his anger issues.
“I could see Heidi threatening Seal with a divorce because he thought she would NEVER do such a thing. This may push Seal to finally get the help he needs to deal with his temper in a more constructive manner,” revealed the source.
We’re glad that the Project Runway starlet is strong enough to make a major life change for her children’s sake. We hope that Seal will seek the help he needs to work out his relationship with Heidi.

I gotta laugh. I can well imagine that for someone like Seal, romancing a drop-dead gorgeous blonde, he could lose his cool. But I saw him interviewed by Ellen and it just seems he might be one of those few guys who is in over his head and can handle it. Who’s calling him a “diva?” If it’s Heidi, I have two responses. One, he’s about as masculine as they come, and, two, that sounds like a word a female would use, which begs the question: who’s the controlling diva? I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some new guy step out of the shadows but I think that would be a very ill-considered move on Heidi’s part. I, too, hope this isn’t the end but I think she feels Seal isn’t controlling enough of her. My guess is she’s being willful and needs to be tamed but there isn’t someone strong enough for that role, or, if there is, he’ll leave her. I think she is very likely to regret this step one day. P.S. The camera room thing may be somewhat true, but my guess it is being blown out of proportion to justify the separation. I’ve met women like this before, who divorce guys you just have a sense aren’t as bad as they say they are. And they live to regret it.
