'Mob Wives' Star Renee Graziano: My Son Was Nervous About Me Reconnecting With Junior

Renee Graziano

Renee reveals to HollywoodLife.com exclusively how her 17-year-old son AJ advised her on how to approach rekindling her romance with his dad Junior: ‘He didn’t want to see his mother cry.’

During the Jan. 15 episode of Mob Wives, Renee Graziano finally got her ex-husband Junior Pagan to admit that he had caused their marriage to fail by cheating on her. Renee broke down in tears and finally forgave him. They then decided to become an official couple again. But while Renee and Junior were rekindling their romance, their 17-year-old son AJ Pagan was nervous about the situation because he didn’t want to see his mother get hurt again.

“AJ told me, ‘Protect your heart,’” Renee tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He wanted it to work out, but he didn’t want to see his mother hurt, cry and see me go through the motions that I am now.”

At the time that Renee and Junior got back together, “AJ was nervous for me because he knows the amount of love I have for his father,” Renee explains. “He was happy, because I was happy. He was happy as well because he had his mother and father in the house at the same time, something he hasn’t had since he was 5 years old.”

AJ helps Renee get through every tough situation in her life, especially this one. “My son was my adviser,” she shares. “I speak freely with AJ. I want him to not do what his father did [in the past]. I’ve taught him to respect women.”

Personally, Renee really needed Junior to admit what he did in the past was wrong. “It was time to fess up so I could go on with my life, so I could be stable, so I knew it wasn’t me,” she says. “He took responsibility for him.”

“We got married very young,” Renee continues. “I hold him accountable for his actions, but do I blame him this far into the game? No really. We all make mistakes.”

Renee describes her feelings at the time as “ecstatic, overwhelmed, and at peace” all at once. “I was happy to have my family,” she recalls. “It was something I waited for, for a very long time.”

But Renee says to stay tuned because her relationship with Junior is about to change drastically in the future episodes of Mob Wives.

I have sympathy for the gals on Mob Wives. All the turmoil in their lives has been caused by MEN. For the most part they would be able to resolve their friendship issues but the emotional pressures from their personal lives affect their day to day contacts.Renee should back away for awhile from the other girls and stop getting right in the middle of their gossip and blaming. She can’t solve her own problems and she’s giving advice to these mamalukes?

I love to watch the show. I also like u because you want everyone to get along. You are a caring person. U like Drama. You look wonderful. If u take him back, u have to forgive the past. We women dont forget. Giving a second chance u cant bring up the past. It wont work if u don’t move on. He doesn’t deserve a second chance, someone else should deserve u. In the end we live once, life is short and we need happiness.
Truly, Sandra C-R,TX

As my grandmother would tell me in italian ‘you can shave the spots off a leopard, but they grow back the same.’
Love yourself a little more than you love him. I wish you the very best.

LOL! If he was they wouldn’t publish NAME and LOCATION! And Smith? Well, if that was the plan and it sounds pretty weak. They have to start over. He’s Puerto Rican, and sure doesn’t look like a Ron Smith? It sounds TOO fake.. But, who knows? I just doubt Smith and Jones are names the FBI uses!
