The singer has signed on to collaborate with Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects to create a line of rocker-chic nail strips.
The Salon Effects strips stick on fingernails easily and look just like polish, but in fun and funky designs. According to WWD, Avril Lavigne will create a limited edition collection of 12 designs of the nail polish strips. The patterns, prints and shapes that Avril has designed sound edgy, yet sweet — just like the singer herself.
“And it’s supercool because the designs that I came up with are my personal style and vibe — they’re rock ’n’ roll and fun and bright and colorful,” Avril tells WWD. “You have sparkles and little stars — they are cute.”
Though this is unique venture for the entrepreneur, Avril isn’t new to the design business. She had a clothing line, Abbey Dawn, and a line of fragrances!
