Lauren was photographed leaving a rehab center in Dallas and this is the first time we’ve seen her since she walked into the spinning blades of an airplane a little over a month ago.
Lauren Scruggs is making a remarkable recovery. The 23-year-old and her parents Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs, along with her twin sister Brittany were spotted for the first time since her Dec. 3 accident, walking out of the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, Tx. Lauren was wearing an eye patch and a hoodie, which covered her left hand that was amputated after the accident.
Lauren’s sister reportedly picked them up in her car and she seemed to be in “good spirits.”
This first appearance comes on the heels of the pilot Curt Richmond speaking out for the first time and claiming that he “yelled” at Lauren and told her not to walk in front of the plane.
Lauren’s parents have been updating fans on their blog CaringBridge ever since the horrible accident. They are actively seeking prosthetics for Lauren’s left hand and left eye which she lost as a result of the incident.
We are so thrilled that Lauren is making such progress and our thoughts are with her!
