HollywoodLife.com spoke to a source close to Katy who tells us that the singer is ‘relieved’ to be half way around the world and far away from Russell Brand!
Katy Perry is keeping herself busy! The 27-year-old singer is in Jakarta, Indonesia for her first concert since the announcement of her divorce from Russell Brand. Katy will perform on Jan. 19 at the Sentul International Convention Center for her California Dreams tour — and we hear she’s “happy” to be back to work.
“Katy is really trying to keep herself busy,” a source tells us. “She seems happy to be in Jakarta, and she’s just focused on her music man. She wants to work, it’s what makes her most happy. I think she’s relieved to be away from all of this.”
Katy was sporting blue hair and a blue ring when she hopped on her flight at LAX on Jan. 16 — we’re just happy to hear she’s doing okay! Especially with new reports that Russell is trying to write a tell-all book about their marriage!
