Are we in store for another Salvatore flashback — or is Damon taking a cue from his crazy-pants little brother?
Leave it to Ian Somerhalder to create a Twitter frenzy using only two words. “What if…” he tweeted Jan. 16, along with a photo of himself getting his hair did for an upcoming episode of The Vampire Diaries. From the looks of it, I’m assuming it means the cast is filming another epic flashback episode, though Ian’s wig does look a little longer than it did the last time we saw it. (And yes, I really am putting this much thought into Ian’s fake hair at 11:30 in the morning.)
Ian also tweeted out a clue Jan. 15, leading me to believe it’s definitely a flashback episode: “Really excited to start ep316 of #TVD tomorrow,” he wrote. “Truly solid episode,1 of the best I think of the show.Get insight into the Salvatore boys.”
He followed that up this morning with this tweet: “Damon and his baby bro, all day long today… Talking about munching on people. Love my job Have a wonder-fully swell day.”
Still, there’s no denying Ian’s look has a very Jekyll-and-Hyde vibe to it — which couldn’t be more appropriate, considering the complete 180 Damon has done over the past few seasons. He’s gone from hellish and heartless to sensitive and stable, and I hope he never goes back!
