Wilmer speaks out about rumors that he’s called it quits with the singing superstar — do YOU think they’re still going strong?

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were said to have split recently, following reports from those close to them as well as her tweeting that she doesn’t need a man. But Wilmer is stepping up to deny the gossip!

Wilmer, 31, took to Twitter on Jan. 12 to write, “I’m amused with how elaborate speculation of someone’s indirect statements are misinterpreted in today’s thirst for unnecessary rumors.”

It seems those rumors were wrong and Demi’s tweets were just taken way out of context — we’re glad they’re still together!

Yeah! THEY BROKE UP! Demi deserves to be with Joe because she treats him like a gentleman and her like a lady. Wilmer has NONE of those qualities.

i do think they broke up hopefully because i want demi to be happy but i dont think they are a good couple but i think she broke up with him because there are alot of rumors saying he cheated and he is really creepy anyway for liking girls when they are youger like when he dated lindsay she was like 17

He grosses me out for so many reasons and as much as she annoys me too I think she can do so much better! Not because of looks or anything like that but he has a reputation as such a sleaze and she’s trying to get away from negative things in her life. Just wait, he’ll do to her what he did to the rest…talk about everything that went on behind closed doors. I called it here first! He didn’t tweet that for Demi, unless for another roumour. They BROKE UP! And everyone with a little bif of brain knows that! BTW, Wilmer loves fame and he knows Demi gives him more “fame” and put him on spotlight, because of that, he’s gonna try to get “fame” of Demi while he can. BUT THEY ALREADY BROKE UP! THEY ARE NOT BE TOGETHER FOR A WHILE ALREADY!
