What happened to the good old days when the doctors would finish a surgery and have a little sexy time in the on-call room?
Grey’s Anatomy is just like an old married couple — after eight years, there’s not a lot of bedroom action anymore.
Seriously, Grey’s. The latest episode took place mostly in the operating room — and that does not make me happy.
A quick recap of the important points. The doctors were all abuzz over a once-in-a-lifetime surgery to separate conjoined twins. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) was consistently annoying, which led to Callie (Sara Ramirez) putting her in her place at the end.
Richard (James Pickens Jr.) tricked Alex (Justin Chambers) into giving up his surgical part in the separation — not sexy at all.
Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) used Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) as a buffer between herself and her recently reunited boytoy Ben (Jason George) and Teddy (Kim Raver) forced Cristina (Sandra Oh) to repeat — ad nauseam — the details of how Teddy’s husband Henry (Scott Foley) died on Cristina’s operating table.
The only cute thing that happened was that baby Zola took her first steps at the end of the episode, in front of proud parents Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith.
But I guess that is what happens after eight years and the presence of children — very little sex. But Grey’s was always at it’s best when the patients served as mirrors to the doctor’s love lives and even after a hard day of cutting, they still had time to take their clothes off.
What did you think of Grey’s, HollywoodLifers?
