Katy and Tim are scheduled to meet at her hometown church where she used to sing! Will it be love at first sight?

Katy Perry‘s split from Russell Brand, 36, may still sting for the 27-year-old, but she’s wasting no time moving on and her parents – Keith and Mary Hudson – are 100 percent on her side. They’re even going as far as trying to set their daughter up with the Denver Broncos starting quarterback, Tim Tebow!

“[Katy's] mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim,” a source tells OK! magazine.”Katy’s mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again… In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian.”

Katy’s parents have gone as far as inviting Tim to speak at the church Katy used to sing at in Huntington Beach, Calif. Of course — when Katy will be there!

Geez…I thought Christians were supposed to be understanding. You people are some of the most judgemental people on earth. Focus on bettering yourselves, and stop pointing at the flaws of others to make yourselves feel better. There is no perfect church, and no perfect Christian. We can only strive to be so. Tim Tebow isn’t the only one in need of prayer. We all are. Snobby poop faces with crap for brains!!

Look if Katy is out drinking and partying it up with her friends in the music business, while her sober husband chooses to stay clear of the nonsense, what makes anyone think that Tim Tebow would approve of such behavior from Katy? It is true that some people who have deep religious roots when out of the eye of the church or their parents or Christian friends choose to party a bit. I’m not saying Perry does things overboard, as I don’t know. Yet, reading between the lines if she truly loved Russell she would do things that supported his sobriety, and he would need to allow her to do things for her career independent of him, understanding she is not the one with the addiction issues. But the truth is no Christian man is going to be happy with her hanging out around the music biz that is rife with drinking, drugs and partying, as well as all the skin that is bared in the name of drawing attention by sex appeal. I think Perry is a good girl at heart, but has not learned how to navigate the party scene to accomodate a real man in her life!

I agree with Mare why the heck would that nut case girl go out with tim tebow he deserves a godly christian girl unlike katy perry and her parents need to stop bugging him. Katy’s parents are not christians I don’t think so they might think they are but there not. A man supposed to preach at a church not a women like her mom.

1. Her GAY dad isn’t fooling anyone with his preacher bit
2. Katy ditched her Christian ways at the first sight of money (Tim is looking for someone
just a wee bit more devoted to the Lord)
3. Russell Brands spit (among other things) hasn’t even dried on her face yet (doubt he
wants to taste some other man on his womans lips, if you catch my drift)
4. If a HOT, FAMOUS, RICH, NFL QUATERBACK with parents throwing their daughters at
him (the Perry’s aren’t the only ones) and whores waiting at his hotel everynight has
SAVED HIMSELF for marriage while opportunities abound because he wants his wife to
be the only woman who has ever had him, don’t you think HE WANTS TO BE THE ONLY
MAN WHO HAS EVER HAD HIS WIFE?!?! The fact is that while women and parents are
swooning over him, guys are making fun of him for being a virgin. Russell is not the
first man or celebrity she’s ever dated. If he did get together with her he could walk in
to any holiwood event and any number of the men in that room could have banged his
wife. He’d never hear the end of it (the jokes that is).
5. It’s so funny that so many parents (celebrities especially) throw their daughters at
him because he’s a good man and a virgin when we all know their daughters have been
around the block. Do they ever stop to think about the kind of woman HIS PARENTS
want to see him with?!?!

You people act like you know Tim Tebow.He agreed to meet her.Just because he isa virgin doesnt mean he is better than Katy.At the end of the day its his choice.He likes divorced women apparently.Besides she had a feud with Gaga last year overtaking God’s name in vain.She has made her share of mistakes maybe Tim will be good for her.I dont know if they are together but I would still be a fan of Tim if they are.Stop judging.

This rumor about Katy and Tim must be a joke or something.

Why not just say Tim Tebow is secretly a horndog and he’s lusting after Lady Gaga instead? Hollywood columnists could call them “the saint and the jezebel”. Why not?

Anyway, no chance that Katy would go out with Tebow. Katy seems to be a “good girl” compared to Lady Gaga but this just wouldn’t happen. I’m sure Katy’s parents would be thrilled but she wouldn’t. She might meet Tebow someday and maybe they could sort of be friends. That’s about it. Tebow is alright. He’ll find the perfect girl for him I’m sure.

Katy will probably end up dating a Hollywood movie star or someone from the music business. Hopefully, she’ll find a “keeper” this time around. Most people doubted that Katy and Russell would make it over the long haul.

I have recently began reading Tim Tebow’s book: Through My Eyes. It has been very insightful into Tim’s character and integrity. As a Sister in Christ, I have began praying daily for Tim Tebow and that he will follow the path God intends for him, that he will stay focused on His purpose, and that if it be God’s will, God will provide him a loving, supportive, God-focused wife. I do not know Katy’s heart but you know a person by the fruit they produce and from the image she portrays on TV and in her music I do not see her fitting in the lifestyle that Tim Tebow currently lives or will ever live (hopefully). There is a ton of pressure on this man to be the man God created him to be everyday. That’s a struggle for all of us but he is doing so well that I pray this world never distracts him. He was sent to spread Good News and has been blessed with a major platform. That was all in God’s plan from Day 1. He deserves the absolute BEST!
