Nicole Says: Why Blair Waldorf Will Leave Prince Louis For Chuck Bass On Her Wedding Day

I know it, you know it, we ALL know it. Blair’s destiny is NOT to be the Princess of Monaco, but it’s to remain Queen B — the Princess of Manhattan!

It’s all boiled down to this: Blair, Chuck, Louis and a wedding. Blair will be faced with the choice to choose the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with on the Jan. 30th wedding episode of Gossip Girl … and I’m CERTAIN it will be Chuck Bass!

With more and more photos of Blair’s (Leighton Meester) wedding being leaked, I can’t contain myself! She clearly goes through with a part of the wedding, but from what we’ve seen she’s a runaway bride — RIGHT? Or is the CW just trying to trick us? If I know Blair Waldorf and she’s running away in her pretty custom-made Vera Wang wedding dress, the only person she’s running to is Mr. Chuck Bass. Don’t you agree??

Chuck (Ed Westwick) understands her more than anyone else does. He is her true love. They have a history together, she lost her virginity to him and he was the first girl he ever said “I love you” to. Blair and Chuck are inarguably the most right for each other couple out there, but I’m not so sure Blair will realize that at the time that it matters.

Could it be that Blair ends up being caught up in the fact that she’s having Louis’ baby and so badly wants to be a royal that she forgets what her heart truly desires?

I don’t know about you, Gossip Girl fans, but I’m very confused about the clues the CW has been throwing at us — especially after the mid-season finale car crash. With Chuck being severely hospitalized and a SERIOUS rekindling between him and Blair, I would think Blair would hold out for Chuck. I’m very confused.

My only theory is that Chuck has some serious amnesia from the almost-deadly car accident and then Blair assumes that means that her and Chuck aren’t supposed to be together after all. If he doesn’t remember their love confessions in the back of the limo, then why should she try to tear her world down by bringing the truth up?

Well, I’ll tell you why: sure, Blair will be happy for the rest of her life living with royals and being the Princess of Monaco, but she will never feel the true love like she felt with Chuck. It’s like they say, your first love is always the most intense and real love you have in your life. If you can hold onto that for the rest of your life, that is something incredibly special, and Blair Waldorf has the chance to do so.

Sure, she’s scared of getting hurt and that’s totally understandable. Chuck can be an unpredictable man. But at the root of it all is love, and Blair and Chuck are so in love with each other, they will never be able to love any body else in that same capacity, which is why she better leave Louis (Hugo Becker) at alter to be with Chuck!

Honestly, these new photos worry me. Clearly, her bridal party walks down the aisle and she ends up at the alter with Louis. All we can hope is that some sense is knocked into her head and she rushes to Chuck before she says ‘I do.’ As cliche and expected as it would be, it would also be the greatest beginning to the greatest love story of all time!

I cannot believe Josh Safran thinks its a reward for longterm fans to see Blair marry a guest star. We want a Chuck and Blair wedding!

I hope Blair stops the Wedding, but because of the fact that there’s one more season coming after this one, I don’t think the writers will make chair happily ever after in this one, it will probably be the last episode on NEXT season that they become a couple again :(

Most fans want Chuck with Blair (despite what 2 haters/Dair fans are saying here). Blair and Chuck are the only thing that is good on this show and the only thing that has kept this show going. It wouldn’t have made it past season 2 without these two. Most want Blair to run away with Chuck (go look at twitter and facebook). We want a Chuck and Blair marriage and nothing else will do.
