In my opinion both of them are at fault. The hospital should have planned ahead and established their own security measures that would have allowed for privacy for the Carter’s as well as provided an open for the parents to see their children as well. I also fault the Carter’s for wanting CIA level security in a public hospital. If this matter needed to be that private, why didn’t they choose a more remote location? I just think they had other options.

Congrats to B and Jay!! Wow Blue Ivy Carter – amazing!!!

I think they are gona be the best parents. They both seem so kind and genuine. Ive been a fan of them for ages. They are very down to earth and very loving and caring type people. I wish them the best!!!

In regards to the complaints, i blame the hospital. They should have done a much better job. They should have been prepared and considerate of other patients expecially other babies. Its not B and Jays fault at all. Yes they booked out a floor, so what! They wanted a good healthy birth in a hospital. There was plenty of space and room. They never done anything wrong. The hospital were the ones that stuffed up by not taking care of others consideratley.

My thoughts are this: yes congratulations on the new baby whether, she birthed her, had surrogate, natural or cesarean. I care less regarding all that…there are just conflicting stories. One story says that upper floor rooms were knocked down & made into one grand suite, & a hospital rep said that ppl can rent suites as the Carters. Families, regardless of who was there, should not have been kept from their own babies, stopped, or whathaveyou. If they wanted that much privacy or anonymousity, they should have had a home or water birth unless complications. “celebrities” are not royalty or the president. Whatever the circumstances, the hospital & other facilities cater to them because of the $$. All babies are super & special & certainly not above another. In this case, there shouldnt have been special accomodations BEYOND reasonably necessary. Protect all babies just the same.

I think they are selfish and arrogant regardless what the bird brains on the View think. The hospital was wrong to allow them to pay for services and facilities that are free and for the public. The hospital is also wrong to allow their security team to harass other patients/visitors. The security team is wrong as well. But regardless that the hosptial is at fault they are ridiculous to buy a whole floor just to give birth. This isn’t the Messiah the baby came out the same hole all kids come out of. Give me a break! If she wanted so much privacy she should have given birth at home or a resort and not disrupt “the regular folks”.

I’m sorry I disagree. Beyonce has enough money that she could have paid for a seperate area or had her child at home with a doctor or a million other options. She just didn’t give a crap as most women with money don’t. It’s about her, her birth. She named the kid a color. These out of touch women naming their kids names like colors and fruit. This kid has to spend a life with this name and teens aren’t going to give a crap whose daughter she is when they’re making fun of her with things like hey I have “blue” balls and anything else teens can come up with related to the word blue. She might as well be handing the kid a needle and syringe.

Had it been some other celebrities they dont like, they would have trash them! they defend her because they are friends with Beyonce and Jay Z. I dont care what security extra they needed, you let paretn visit their babies in the hospital, all they need was two security guards in front of their private room not all over the hospital.

The so called “Stars” should build their own hospitals so they can control their own crappy world. Shame on the View, you belittle the average parent. Blame the hospital, yea right, blame these so called snot stars who think they are all that.

Press release Beyonce and Jay-Z should release if they want this to go away:
————————

As excited, first-time parents, we wanted some private family time to enjoy the birth of our daughter. We wanted peace and quiet – without the media circus that we knew would erupt during this blessed event.

Most parents are lucky enough to get privacy without having to pay out large sums of money for it. We do not have that option.

So, we paid the hospital hoping to secure some degree of privacy for our new family. It was never our intent to upset or disturb other new parents. Perhaps the hospital needs to re-examine the way in which they handled this matter.

In any event, we wish to make a sizeable donation to the hospital’s NICU to ensure the health and well-being of future babies.

We also wish to establish college funds for each of the babies affected by our stay and we will ensure that hospital staff do not prevent any parents from spending time with their own newborns.

We are sorry that a joyous occasion turned into something fraught with controversy and we hope that this gesture will allow everyone to move forward and focus on these precious new babies that we’re all very lucky to have and love.
————-

Hard to hold a grudge after a statement like that.

Now, we’ll just hold our breath and see if they can right this wrong. Generosity is more than just spending $600,000 for a silly gold rocking chair.

Other fist-time parents wanted also, to enjoy the birth of their babies, but due to bad timing, delivering when two self-centerd people with vast wealth, Beyonce and JayZ happened to be in there at the same time, they quiet time became horrific! If what went down really happended they are patients rights for everyone, sue the hospital, they need to stop this non-sense and get within reason. I feel sorry for Beyonce and Jayz, they show us the ignorance of people with loads of money and not much education. I have stopped watching the View, Sherry Shepherd is so stupid, and says dumb things, why Barbara Walters hire her I don’t know.

The blame should squarely be on the hospital. it can’t be possible that the security requested by a few special guests, who paid whatever inflated price for special treatment, would triumph the hospital’s procedures. If the security details were running the hospital doctors and nurses were probably wasting time trying to sneak a peak at the Carter family.

shame on the hospital for ruining specials moments for so many families.

First of all, I read a statement from the hospital yesterday and it reported that Bea & JZ did NOT pay the hospital 1.3 million. The couple said it was JZ & Bea’s security that would not let them in. Just sayin’ – obviously I was not there. In any case, maybe Bea & JZ should pay the couples hospital bill and everyone will be happy – they certainly can afford it and it would be a show of good will.

the hospital said they did not pay 1.3 million. That B&J security did not stop anyone and that the hospital still has security that ranked higher. Anyone with an appt was not turned away. some people are just lying.

HL is just milking this one by keeping the story going.

My 2 cents, if you have enough money you can buy what you want, it was poor planning on the part of the hospital. As for Jay Z and Bey going over the top on the birth of their first child together, who wouldn’t if we all had the money. Congrats to the power couple and much blessings to Blue Ivy…Bless!!
