The women on ‘The View’ think the parents who were kept from their sick babies in the ICU should be mad at the hospital — not Beyonce!
This morning on The View, the women weighed in on the drama surrounding Jay-Z and Beyonce’s diva-like takeover of Lenox Hill Hospital for the birth of Blue Ivy. They say it’s not her fault parents couldn’t see their newborn babies in the neonatal ICU! “Blame the hospital, not Beyonce,” Sherri Shepherd said. “When they paid $1.3 million, they expected everything to be taken care of.”
Joy Behar wasn’t as Team Beyonce as the other women. “My daughter gave birth in that hospital,” she revealed. “And I would have been very upset if they had kept her from seeing her baby.”
“If you pay enough money, I guess you can get a whole floor,” Barbara Walters said.
But Whoopi Goldberg pointed out that it was the neonatal intensive care unit — any disruption can cause problems with the sick babies. “You have to consider there are other people out there,” she explained.
All of the women agreed that the snafu was most likely because of the hospital’s poor planning.
“I know that Jay and B, they are great people,” Whoppi said. “This will calm down.”
Do YOU think that Jay-Z and Beyonce acted like total divas or is the hospital to blame?
