No wonder Kris Humphries felt blindsided by Kim filing for divorce on October 31. She actually filmed herself telling her mother Kris that her marriage was a disaster in Dubai in mid-October, before revealing her feelings to her husband!
Anyone who watched Kourtney & Kim Take New York’s two episodes last night, Jan. 9, had to get a sinking feeling as they watched Kim make it clear that she was NOT happy in her marriage to her audience, while she didn’t give Kris Humphries a serious clue.
First of all — it seemed bizarre throughout Jan 8ths episodes that Kim Kardashian gave increasingly gigantic hints that her marriage was in marriage trouble, knowing that the whole world would see them shortly. In the first episode, she strangely announced to her husband of less than two months that she needed a “sisters weekend” with Kourtney away from him.
“It would be great to take a break from the paparazzi and our guys,” she told a surprised Kris Humphries.
And even as a TV viewer — I felt like this was so odd. She and Kris hadn’t even been in a relationship for a year, let alone been married for less than two months — shouldn’t she have been dying to be with him as a newlywed.
But I could see how Kris might be confused by her behavior. They were filming a reality TV show, after all. He could have accepted that a weekend break trip away was a necessary dramatic move for the show.
Of course, Kourtney and Kim unfairly felt it was OK for them to abandon their men for the weekend but that their guys shouldn’t go anywhere.
She told Kris that it was “lame” that he was invited to Toronto to make money at a personal appearance even though she didn’t want to be with HIM. Double standard time!
When Kris went ahead and snuck away to Toronto anyway with Scott Disick without telling Kim, Kim hit the roof that her hubby could actually try to have a life.
“I’m so mad at Kris — things like this are what breaks trust,” Kim told him off. “In a marriage you have to be open and honest and you tell each other everything and there’s obviously a big problem with this” (ie. Kris going to Toronto behind Kim’s back because she wouldn’t support his trip there).
Yes, exactly Kim — that’s the point. You were supposed to be OPEN, HONEST and tell your spouse EVERYTHING! Instead, you told the TV cameras everything on the episode last night, Jan. 8.
You told your TV audience that “things are really weird between Kris and I so I’m just excited to get away and have some alone time,” you confessed to the camera, explaining why you were happy to leave your husband and go on a business trip to Dubai, on Oct. 13, with your mother Kris Jenner.
Now, keep in mind that this is just after you were away on that “girls” weekend with your sister, so you have been avoiding spending time with Kris for a couple of weeks already.
Then in Dubai, Kim makes it VERY clear on camera in public that her marriage is on the rocks.
She doesn’t answer a question from a local TV interviewer about “would you be interested in bringing your new husband to Dubai?”
“I really had to take a second to think about it,” you admit to your viewers. Then you reveal that you’ve been writing long emails to your sisters, but no mention of Kris AND THEN you drop this bomb, to us, your viewers in front of the KKTNY cameras.
“I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders since I’ve been here in Dubai,” you tell us. “I don’t know if it’s just having alone time, being away from my husband, but I feel like I’m back to myself and I’m really enjoying this feeling.”

Meanwhile, unsuspecting Kris, who still thinks he’s in a functioning marriage and is trying to “behave”, has been left at the mercy of Kim’s mean girl sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, who are repeatedly pranking Kris, including putting a large snake in his bed.
Meanwhile, Kim hasn’t confided any of these very serious concerns about her marriage to the most important person of all — her husband, Kris.
When Kourtney and Khloe put the snake in Kris’ bed, he announces that they’ve crossed the line, but it’s Kim who has crossed the line in a far more major way!
Instead of doing what most confused new wives would — pick up the phone and talk to their husbands, reality star Kim does what a reality star does.
She gets in front of a camera with her mother and confesses that she isn’t excited to get home to her hubby.
“I’ve been feeling a sense of relief since I’ve been here… there’s something in my relationship that isn’t right. I’m learning a lot of things about Kris that I didn’t know before. Married life isn’t what I thought it would be with him,” she tells her mother Kris… and us!
Kim wants to know if this is normal and, of course, her mom is happy to put her straight.
“This isn’t normal to feel like you don’t want to go home to your brand new husband,” she tells Kim. “This is the stage in your relationship where you should be obsessed with each other and you should be missing your husband.”
Now keep in mind, that Kim left for Dubai on Oct. 13th and she filed for divorce on Oct. 31st.
She ended the episode last night saying that “my mom’s telling me that this isn’t normal and this does worry me a little.”
Well, it may have worried her, but it didn’t motivate her to work on her marriage with Kris.
When she arrived back in New York, the pair went straight on filming more of their show and they couldn’t have had much time to discuss Kim’s concerns and get to the heart of the problems. Who knows what Kim even shared or didn’t share with Kris?
No, instead Kim filed her walking papers while Kris was home visiting his family in Minnesota, then someone in her camp leaked the divorce papers to TMZ and later that day she flew around the world to Australia, leaving a shocked Kris behind.
If only Kris had been able to see the film in the TV show’s cameras — then he would have been able to see what was coming — like the KKTNY film crew, and now her TVaudience!

Obviously she only meant that he had to be open and honest and tell her everything and that when HE didn’t, it breaks trust. Pffffttt….. Here’s the truth. Kim K. looked in the mirror and was horrified by what she saw. Of course when this happens, her only option is to get rid of (divorce) the mirror. God forbid one would think they had some issues and needed to change…..
