It’s no wonder celebrities stay at NYC’s the Dream Hotel when they come to town, it’s the epitome of modern elegance!
NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood has just gotten très chic and that’s thanks to Vikram Chatwal, famous for his luxury hotels all over the world and creator of the Dream Downtown. HollywoodLife.com got a chance to stay at the Dream and it was absolutely fabulous — not to mention the service was impeccable.
Trying to pick a hotel to stay at in NYC is completely overwhelming. There are so many neighborhoods, opinions from friends and family, that it’s a miracle if you can ever decide on a place to rest your head. But when we stumbled upon this gem during an after party for an exclusive movie premiere over the summer, we knew this was a place unlike any other!
The room at the hotel was everything you would hope an NYC hotel room to be. The decor was fashion forward with the most modern touches. From chic furniture (yet incredibly inviting, warm and comfortable) to beautiful artwork — the room was absolutely A-list. Not to mention, the views below of the glass bottom pool screamed Hollywood glam. It felt like you were floating on a cloud when you looked down.
It was quiet, clean and just stunning. The staff would be up in minutes if you requested an item like a toothbrush and the turndown service was like clockwork. Rob Dellibovi, the Director of Sales & Marketing, did everything he could to make our stay flawless. It’s rare you come across people who truly want their guests to enjoy their experience and it made our stay that much more memorable. It was as if Madonna or Beyonce were staying in our suite.
The night was topped off with a visit to PH-D, their rooftop bar. The 360-degree-views of Manhattan’s skyline made us forget about the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate it for all its beauty.
You must stay at the Dream Downtown the next time you’re in NYC, or at least stop by and have a delicious cocktail!
