Jay-Z and Beyonce totally took over Lenox Hill Hospital and kicked out other parents from the Upper East Side hospital from seeing their newborns in the intensive care unit! How RUDE!
Will Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy Carter be as much of a diva as her super-star parents? The couple installed bulletproof glass, burly bodyguards and kept other anxious parents out of the neonatal intensive-care unit, according to the NY Post! “They just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered,” complained Neil Coulon, a new dad who couldn’t check on his premature, newborn twins because he was kept from the neonatal ICU.
Other parents complained that they were put on “lockdown” so the diva and her party could have the floor to themselves.
“They locked us into the NICU and would say, ‘You can’t come out to the hallway for the next 20 minutes.’” Neil added. “When I was finally able to go back out, I went to the waiting room and they’d ushered my family downstairs! These are parents who are going through very stressful times. To have that circus roll into town, having to deal with all this drama because someone is a superstar, isn’t fair.”
The couple have completely taken over the hospital for the birth and recovery! There have been two months worth of expensive renovations to her fourth-floor recovery suite — including a bulletproof door and darkened windows.
“Her room is bulletproof,” a staffer revealed. “It’s custom-made. They came in and reconstructed it. It’s completely different.”
Beyonce checked in Jan. 6 to the hospital under the name Ingrid Jackson and settled into her sixth-floor delivery suite. The singer had her own security in addition to the hospital security.
Beyonce, 30, and Jay-Z (Shawn Carter), 42, welcomed little Blue Ivy, who was delivered naturally, on Jan. 7. Her namecomes from her dad’s “Blueprint” album and her mom’s favorite number — 4, which is represented by the Roman numeral IV (a.k.a “Ivy”).
On Jan. 8, the new diva baby moved down to the ultra-luxe fourth-floor recovery suite, and her proud parents keep showing her off to friends. Some reports say that Jay-Z spent nearly $1.3 million for “an entire floor,” but a spokeswoman from Lenox Hill claimed that number is exaggerated.
The mega demands of the couple haven’t made them many friends with their fellow new parents. “People are really upset and complaining,” a hospital worker noted.
Do YOU think the couple acted like divas, HollywoodLifers?

Never write on these things but can’t believe what I am reading. There’s probably more to this than the press would like to have us think.
I’m sure their intention was not to prevent others from seeing their children. Ultimately the hospital took the money and should have put alternative measures in place for the other parents or not took the money and said NO! They did not do this.
If you read the news properly the man was allowed to see his children but had to stay in the room for at least 20 min when he did visit. why is that such a big deal.
BUT what made me write on this wall are the people who are getting on their moral high horses about the couples actions and then calling people ‘retards’ or ‘druggies’ because they gave a different opinion to you. I think you need to take a look at your own attitude rather than that of Jay Z and Beyonce. I also hope you have not hurt the feelings of those people you have put down on this website. SHAME ON YOU

The big deal about making parents visit in the NICU for at least 20 min is that a lot of the times when a baby is born with problems the mother has her own health problems afterwards to. When my first child was born I was usually only able to visit my daughter in the NICU for about 5-10 min at a time because I had my own health problems that required constant medical attention. If you want your birth to be so damn privet then do it at home. Obviously they could afford it.

They should have did things normal without all the extra stuff that brought lots of attention to themselves that just shows what kind of ppl they are …they could have still made it special for the arrival of Ms ivy just not interfering with all the other new parents nd their joy #SELFISH
