‘Blue’ is significant, as Jay-Z, 42, has released a series of popular and critically acclaimed albums in his Blueprint series. He’s often said that blue is his favorite color, as in songs like “Go Crazy” remix, he rhymes that, “My favorite hue is Jay-Z blue.”
As for ‘Ivy,’ it isn’t a coincidence that the name and Roman number IV are so alike — and a huge part of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s life. The number four is dear to the celebrity couple: Beyonce was born on September 4, Jay-Z was born on December 4, and the two wed on April 4th, 2008! Beyonce’s latest album — her fourth — was even called 4!

Congratulations on your baby!!!I expected a different name eveven though that name is also wonderful like I said and shall say again great name for baby Ivy
