‘Desperate Housewives’ returns Jan. 8! Watch a preview video of the winter premiere.

The residents of Wisteria Lane have a lot to feel guilty about these days. Not only are Desperate Housewives‘ four leading ladies still sweating it out over burying a body in the woods, but now someone has killed Chuck (Jonathan Cake), the detective assigned to the case — and everyone’s a suspect.

Could it have been Carlos (Ricardo Chavira), the man who killed Gaby’s (Eva Longoria) stepfather in the first place? Or maybe it was Bree (Marcia Cross), who recently fall back off the wagon. And hey, let’s not forget Mike’s (James Denton) history of violence!
