Producers of the show yanked Russell’s invitation at the last minute — could his career be ruined due to the divorce?
Katy Perry and Russell Brand‘s split was just announced, but it seems the divorce is already taking a toll on Russell’s professional life!
Russell, 36, was uninvited from the Jan. 11 People’s Choice Awards, The Daily Mirror reports. The reason? Producers don’t want Katy, 27, to feel awkward — she’s a bigger star and up for seven awards!
“It will be Katy’s big night, a prelude to the Grammys, and now Russell has been strangely left off the list of attendees for the high-profile event,” a source close to the event said. “It was always going to be awkward for organizers in any case after their shock decision to split. But in order to avoid any awkwardness or confrontation Russ is no longer on the list.â€

It fills so bad to think of katy perry to be hurt. what did she do so bad i wonder to my self if her songs hurt her to think about that.

Yeah, when it comes down to it russel is a has been riding the coat tail of katy since they got together. She’s better off. Who cares if he is disinvited he’s nobody.

Seriously?! I’m sure they could have sat him WAAAAY in the back away from her. That’s just rude being uninvited and having everyone know about it. -_-
