Jenelle’s attorney tells exclusively why Jenelle was in court on Jan. 3.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans isn’t having a good day. Besides being totally sick, she had to go to court today Jan. 3 to battle her former landlord in a small claims court over rent that was past due, her attorney Dustin Sullivan tells exclusively.

Jenelle had to deal with a “small claims case issue,” Dustin explains to us. “From what I understand, apparently the landlord was suing Jenelle and Amber [Jenelle’s former roommate] for rent that was due. Amber and Jenelle showed up to court today. The magistrate indicated that they need to pay the back rent and split the cost.”

Jenelle did not enlist Dustin or another attorney to help her with this case. She handled it all on her own.

“Yeah so my tonsils are bigger then yesterday,” Jenelle wrote on her Facebook fanpage. “have to go to court in a few mins for that stupid f*cking lease amber left us with, ughhhh! Today isn’t going too good”
