Imagine the horror of arriving for a relaxing vacation and discovering that your luggage didn’t make it to the destination? Now imagine how worse that must be if you had to tell Rachel Zoe that her luggage was lost in transit.

Everything I know about super-stylist Rachel Zoe leads me to believe that when her luggage went missing she didn’t easily laugh it off — especially considering that her luggage was filled with a “Tom Ford for Gucci vintage leather jacket and Missoni caftans,” according to a source. Rachel and her family was en route to St. Barts for a holiday trip on American Airlines, (the same airline that also lost Miranda Kerr‘s wedding dress), when the luggage went missing.

Rachel has an enviable wardrobe, and packing light definitely isn’t one of her strong suits — check out her luggage from Paris Fashion Week above! Luckily, the stylist didn’t have to brave the beach in her ‘airport outfit’ — a quick stop in Miami gave her enough time to scoop up a makeshift vacation wardrobe, and you could never tell that her clothes didn’t make it to the destination.

As for the missing luggage, the bag still has not been recovered. “American has offered up no information as to its whereabouts,” our source told the NY Post. “It’s been a week now. There hasn’t been any info on [the bag’s] whereabouts, or an estimated return date whatsoever.”

Since I still haven’t learned how to travel light, the thought of an airline losing my luggage is definitely one of my biggest nightmares, so I feel for Rachel. The situation is definitely unfortunate, but I still would love to have heard the conversation between Rach and Rodg when they discovered the luggage didn’t make it there.
