Top ex- Calvin Klein fashion advertising exec Madonna Badger lost her three young daughters and both parents in a devastating fire in Stamford, Connecticut on Christmas Day. So tragic!
The horror of the deadly Christmas Day fire has even shaken up the Hollywood community and Kim Kardashian, 31, took it to Twitter to express her sentiments about a tragedy that no parent should ever have to endure.
“My prayers go out to the family of 3 children &their grandparents who lost their lives in a house fire in Connecticut on Christmas,” Kim posted on Twitter Dec. 26.
The fire broke out shortly before 5 a.m. on Dec. 25 claimed the lives of Madonna’s three daughters, Lilly, 10, and, twins Sarah and Grace, 7, as well as her parents Lomer and Pauline Johnson who were staying at her home in Stamford, Conn., for the holiday weekend.
Madonna, was famous in the early 1990s as the art director for the sexy and controversial Marky Mark ( Mark Wahlberg) underwear ads and the erotic Kate Moss Obsession perfume ads, both for Calvin Klein. She then became the founder of the fashion advertising agency Badger & Winters group.
She and a male acquaintance, Michael Borcina, were the only survivors from the devastating accident. While the cause of the accident has yet to be determined, new reports point to the fireplace on the first floor of the house. Madonna and Michael were up late wrapping presents when they put the remaining embers from the fireplace into a container and left them in the foyer, the New York Daily News reports.
This truly is the saddest thing ever! Our thoughts and prayers are ,like Kim, with Madonna and her family in this very difficult time.
