The Duchess looked divine, dressing up her Christmas get-up in a sparkling pair of earrings from designer, Kiki McDonough — a fave of the late Princess Diana!
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge looked neat and chic for Christmas mass when she stepped out with the Royals. As per usual, all eyes were on Kate – however, it was her new earrings that had us doing a double-take! The Duchess dressed up her maroon coat, (by an independent British designer), and hat by Jane Corbett with a sparkling pair of 18ct gold drop earrings. Made up of green amethysts surrounded by diamonds on a diamond hoop, the Kiki McDonough earrings are priced at a little over $3,000 — could Kate’s new bling be a present from her hubby, Prince William? It’s not a bad way to mark their first Christmas together!
Kate is definitely a fan of the designer, in fact, she was spotted wearing a diamond-studded cross, matching diamond earrings and a pair of 18ct gold citrine drop earrings on multiple occasions — and Kate isn’t the only fan! Princess Diana was often seen showing off some of the designer’s exquisite pieces. “I once counted Princess Diana as one of my most loyal customers and we always had such fun choosing designs for her to wear – she took great pleasure in wearing my jewelry,” Kiki told Vogue UK. “It is a very special added extra that Catherine now enjoys wearing my designs too.”
Do you think Kate’s new sparklers could be a gift from her hubby?
