Justin Bieber Has Been A Great 'Shoulder To Cry On' After Selena Gomez's Family Tragedy

Justin Bieber may have been home in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, for Christmas, but he’s still been a ‘great’ support for Selena, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively, after her mother Mandy’s miscarriage.

Selena Gomez needed her own time to be with her family to recover from her mother’s sad miscarriage, in her own way and her boyfriend Justin Bieber understood that, reveals our source, who is close to the situation.

“Justin has been a great support system being there, but has also stayed out of it enough and let the family mourn on their own terms,” says the source. “Apparently he has played it perfectly. Looks like time is slowly healing all in the situation.”

Selena tweeted and facebooked a message to her fans late Christmas day wishing everyone well and thanking fans for support.

“Belated Merry Christmas everybody.. I can’t thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you.. I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!

Apparently it was “very therapeutic for Selena’s family to all be together around the holidays as they are still very sad over the miscarriage situation,” says the source. “But they’ve been feeling much better as some time has past and Selena’s mom is otherwise healthy.”

Selena, who is 19 and an only child , was so excited about finally having a younger sibling. And in fact, Justin has been having a great time over Christmas hanging out with his much younger sibs, sister Jazmyn, 4, and brother Jaxon, 2 that Justin’s dad, Jeremy had with wife, Erin.

He even took his younger sister Jazmyn on stage in Toronto at his Home for the Holidays concert on Dec. 22.

Clearly, Justin being a family guy himself could totally understand how Selena felt about the loss in her own family.

Faking the miscarriage or faking the relationship??? Who would be crazy enough to claim a pregnancy and declare a miscarriage afterwards just for a story. On the relationship part–unfortunately, to those people who cannot accept the reality–this is as real as it gets. There is no way this relationship is fake, they have been friends for over 3 years, in a relationship officially for more than a year (unofficially maybe 2???). It is easy for best friends to fall in love when both of them realize that their love for each other is beyond the friendship level, this will eventually turn into platonic love (soul mates), if both stay in love in the long run. Christmas is always an important part of a family. It is crucial for individuals to stay with the family at this time. I think both families believe that it has to stay that way until they actually get married and have their own families. Maybe this will change next year as they grow older, you never know.
