When Prince William‘s parents, Charles and Diana, kissed after their wedding in 1981 on the Buckingham Palace balcony, THAT was an historic occasion! Never in the history of Royals had their been a public kiss before. And their subjects loved it!
But from the moment Prince William announced his engagement to Kate Middleton, there was no doubt that he’d been raised by his infamously affectionate mom Diana.
William proved to be perfectly comfortable with PDA and he and his bride have been perfectly comfortable with throwing Royal restraint to the historical wind and have kissed and cuddled and handheld up a storm.
