HollywoodLife.com got the scoop on Josh & Chris’ future straight from Simon himself!
Melanie Amaro may have won The X Factor‘s $5 million grand prize, but that doesn’t mean fellow finalists Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene will walk away from the competition empty handed. HollywoodLife.com caught up with head honcho Simon Cowell after the Dec. 22 finale, and he admitted he’s already eyeing both guys for record contracts.
“Of course,” he told us when we asked if he wanted to sign Josh and Chris. “If not, someone else is going to sign them!”

Melanie Amaro may have won the competition but i bet you, she is not going to be as successful as chris and josh or even Astro and Rachel.

Josh was the one that should have won but he will be selling albums before long and I will be buying them. I loved his unique voice with the rasp in it and the soul he put into his music. I wish him all the best and I voted for him until I wasn’t allowed to fote any more.

Josh was outstanding never in the bottom 2, he was unique, awesome and I sincerely hope he gets signed. I for one will buy his CD when its released, I truly feel that Melanie won on default that this was always meant to be Josh’s destiny!

Happy Birthday Chris!! I loved the season, except for one ‘person’s’ antics from the beginning. However, the singing was great and it was honestly a hard call on who the winner would be – each of the three were exceptional in a different way – I LOVED all three! Melanie has such an amazing gift in her voice, and I’m thrilled she’s not afraid to love her Lord. Josh – well, he’s one of a kind and I adore his gravelly voice – he takes me back to the 60′s and I love him! But Chris Rene – that young man took mjy heart the first audition. Even though I do NOT do the ‘rap’ thing, just can’t get away from the real singing, he’s converted me to his style of ‘rap’, I love his singing and his own music, & can’t wait to get his first CD. But his heart – I love the young man and am som proud of him – I know his father is watching from Heaven and is SO proud of his son too. Wonderful life Chris – BELIEVE!!!

While Melanie had a great voice – is not what I want to hear (was not a fan of Whitney etc back when ballads were popular either)Josh was the SOLE reason for me continueing to watch this show – and am just glad that he will be signedas sooner means sooner we get to hear his music (tho wouda not suprised me had he been signed the second the show was over)

Melanie should not have won. She’s to ordinary by today’s standards. There are too many artists out there like her already, that also have a better stage presence.
Both Chris and Josh will outsell Melanie. It wouldn’t surprise me if they sold 1 million albums the day they are released.
Not to bash religion or anything, but Melanie is quite big on it and often thanks god after her performances (way more than I think she should). How many “religious” artists are out there right now that are superstars and selling millions of albums?

Melanie had a good voice, but I agree she was a plain jane. On the other hand all you guys are trippin. Chris Rene can’t sing!!! Wow he wrote one song big deal. Plus everybody sympathized with him cuz he was a crack head who cares! Everyone has a sad story!! Josh should have won!

Actually, Chris is very good at his OWN WORK, and “Young Homie” pales in comparison to many of his other songs. He will not be a one-hit-wonder if music fans pay any attention to lyrics. So he’s not so good at covers. WHO CARES. It’s his originals that will be on the album.

I agree that Melanie is a complete yawn. She as boing a watching paint dry. If she has any personality at all, I didn’t witness it. She was not likeable or personable. What a waste when Josh and even Chris were appealing. I’m 75 years old and have seen really great performers in my time. Melanie has quite a way to go to keep me from just turning off the sound. Sorry, Simon you usually do a good job. Not this time.

I think amaro was excellent but a lot of that type already out there. Chris rene coudn’t sing BUT Josh could blow the house dow and was imaginative and soulful and humble. I wouldn’t see amaro in concert.
Please no more auditions, no more Beibers, no more robots.

Tone it down with judges that know about singing and can offer good advice. Nicole and LA are a joke. Not one thig to really offer that was real-stop the love and get real. And why was STACEY in the final 12? Geez-lame

Amaro is another second-rate, trying-hard Mariah/Whitney/Beyonce mediocre copycat!
NO originality, NO charisma, NO personality, NO stage presence, NO stage performance, NO likeability factor, NO looks= ZERO X-Factor!
She is just a plain jane, and TBH plain BORING!
Remember the American Idol winner, the Hicks guy–well THAT is going to be Amaro…X-Factor did NOT even have the ratings that American Idol had, and Chris Rene will be the “Daughtry” of that flop X-Factor competition…HOW’s THAT!

I totally agree with you guys. Melanie always acted like she was mad or smelled something bad. Chris and Josh were the true winners, and I believe that one of them didn’t win because were too confident and didn’t feel the need to call in their votes. I’d buy both of any CD’s they released. They are awesome guys. My personal votes were for Chris all the way through!! He made me want to dance along with him. He’s humble and a true man of his word. I only pray that Simon Cowell or L.A. Reed will sign him.

When the voting system has complete transparency, then I’ll buy it.
Until then, I’ll buy Chris’ music on iTunes. Which many of his other fans seem to be doing as well. We call that voting with our wallets, on an unbiased platform.

all i have to say is that i TOTALLY AGREE with you CHRIS Rene. If ppl were listening at the beginning of the show it was made clear that the X FACTOR was about origanility personality something indescribeable and CHRIS RENE has the x factor he shouldve won melanie is like a cookie cutter american idol winner theres no one like chris america got it sooo wrong ill be laughing when chris makes more money overalll then melanie BELIEVE

I totally agree with you. Melanie has a great voice but that’s about it. She is too boring for my taste, I would never buy a ticket to see her. At least the two guys have character and they are not trying to copy somebody. I was really mad at Simon! He sold Melanie to us every chance he got, just so he could say “his” girl won. Unfortunately a lot of people bough into it. But I believe the guys will have the last laugh after Melanie is long gone.

Melanie Amaro has an AMAZING voice. So what she reminds people of other more experienced artist. That just shows how good she truely is. She had the voice, the look, and the personality. 3 of the key mojor things you need to survive in this corrupt music industry. Josh had a good voice, but he sounded like any other old ‘Rocker’. The raspiness of his voice didn’t show any originality. You see/hear artist like that all the time on other telovised singing competitions. Josh had a voice..Just not “The Voice”. He didn’t really stand out. And Chris Rene couldn’t sing to save his life. So what he made a song called ‘Young Homey’. That dude performed like 3 different versions of it on the show. He was boring and had no type of appealing look. Could you see him smiling on the front of a magizine? -I think not. But in the end it was America’s desicion. And America wanted to see Melanie. So no matter how boring you think she was appearently America had its own view of who they wanted. So by the results of the show… MELANIE AMARO IN THE END OF IT ALL HAD “THE X-FACTOR.” So quit your complaining and be happy for the girl. Because your hating and negativeity didn’t stop her from winning and becoming $5,000,000 richer. Don’t hate..Congratulate.

You are sooooo right. My whole family loved Josh. He will be a success. Sometimes when they win the whole title on American Idol, they still do not go that far. Surely, some record label will pick up the talented and nice person Josh is.
