Taylor started to get shutout from parties and trips on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ because no one wanted to be around her husband Russell Armstrong but Taylor’s attorney tells us the claims that she filed for divorce to stay on the show are ‘insulting’!
Taylor Armstrong filed for divorce for the sake of her reality TV career? A new report in RadarOnline.com claims that the reason Taylor filed for legal separation in July, right before Russell Armstrong committed suicide in August, was because Bravo had reportedly written them out of the show!
The report claims that Russell began threatening to sue NBC when he learned that Taylor had discussed their marital issues on the show and that producers were planning to incorporate the footage in upcoming episodes.
“Russell would have had no legal leg to stand on because it was Taylor who was telling the girls this stuff,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. “Bravo and NBC decided that Russell and Taylor were more trouble than they were worth, and decided to end filming with them, as soon as it became apparent that Russell was going to continue down that path.”
This, not the abuse, is what reportedly prompted Taylor to attempt to end her marriage. On the last episode of RHOBH, Taylor and Russell are banned from entering Kyle Richards‘ annual all white party because Russell threatened to sue Camille Grammer for talking about Taylor’s domestic abuse in a prior episode.
HollywoodLife.com spoke to Taylor’s attorney and manager Robert Thorne who completely denied these claims: “Denied 100%, and the question is so wrong and without factual basis as to be insulting. The reasons for her divorce have certainly been public enough as to require no further comment or explanation.”
Do you think Taylor tried to end her marriage to save her reality stardom?
