Taylor Armstrong reveals to HollywoodLife.com how it’s felt to watch her troubled relationship with her late ex-husband Russell Armstrong on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

HollywoodLife.com spoke to Taylor Armstrong at Sweet E’s, the mini bake shop, in Beverly Hills Dec. 22, where Taylor’s daughter, Kennedy, and her little girlfriends were decorating holiday cupcakes and cookies. She explained how life has changed since last summer when her late ex-husband Russell Armstrong committed suicide and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season two began airing.

“My daughter Kennedy is doing good, we are both getting stronger every day,” she began, adding that Kennedy is asking for an iPad for Christmas. “We are just taking it one day at a time. We know we are going to make it.”

She explained, “It’s difficult watching the show because we taped it so long ago. But I do get to see other people’s perspectives so I understand them better. But it’s difficult doing reality TV because you experience the drama in your life when you are experiencing it and then when you watch it months later on TV you re-live it.”

Even though she and Russell weren’t allowed into Kyle Richards‘ white party, Taylor and Kyle have put that incident behind them and remain close.

“We are all pretty good about keeping in touch,” Taylor said. “I talk to Kyle the most because we live close to each other and our kids play with each other. I see her a lot. I saw Lisa [Vanderpump] the other night.”

When we asked Taylor about her autobiographical book, which comes out Feb. 7, she explained why she considers it a labor of love. “I want my book to inspire people to talk about [abuse] — to make it a conversation, because if it’s not talked about, there can be no change.”

We wish Taylor and Kennedy the very best this holiday seasons.

Taylor please.. Bravo she needs to go!
Move back home with your daughter. You don’t belong in Beverly Hills.
Be real!

I am with the group here. Some people are entertaining to watch, Taylor is NOT one of them.

I hope Bravo will lose her like they did Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and The Nut Bensimon.

These people are not entertaining.

Taylor is gross and we all see through her. Please get her off the show ASAP

Does anyone else think Taylor killed Russell to cover up her web of lies? This needs major investigation.

Yes, Taylor, just go away!! You will milk your husband’s suicide for all it’s worth. You are mean, nasty and as ugly on the inside as the outside.

I feel sorry for Kennedy. Her father is dead and her mother is a sociopath. Good luck, kid.

Taylor, do us all a favor and go away. Just go.

Taylor’s manipulative! What does she have to “heal” from? She so rarely had a single nice thing to say about her husband, the whole situation she put him and everyone else in was just twisted. If she had any backbone she would have just divorced him after the first bad incident and actually set a good example for her daughter and for the young ladies who watch the show. Let’s petition Bravo to #dump Taylor now!!!

Oh, pleeze. So painful. Well stay off television and handle your problems in private and maybe Russell would still be alive, skank!

I really don’t feel that bad for her. I think reality T.V. is so fake, and anyone who does it is really just ruining their life. They may have money, but it kills their personalities and their lives are never nice or normal any more.
