Miley was caught on video cursing out a fan in Costa Rica, but now she claims that the woman was the aggressor and not a ‘fan’ at all.
Miley Cyrus had an unsettling encounter with a fan during her recent trip to Costa Rica with her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Miley was walking away from a group of people when one lady screamed out, “Asshole!” Miley turned around and returned, “What the f***?? Are you serious?!” However, Miley took to Twitter to explain that she didn’t curse out a “fan,” even though the whole incident was caught on film by a local news station.
“Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays but just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan,” Miley tweeted on Dec. 21. “When someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an “a**hole” infront of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ i cant tolerate that kind of rudeness”
Miley says that the people who saw everything go down even apologized to her for the woman’s nasty remark. “Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior,” Miley shared. “She obviously wasnt a fan. Hope every1 has a Merry Christmas! LOVE 2 ALL!”
BFFs — do you accept Miley’s explanation or do you think she should be apologizing to her fans for her outrage?

Well in my opinion I think she should’ve kept her mouth shut and kept walking. Imagine if this was another very well known and popular celebrity who did the same attempt, did you ever wonder if that would be the same story? Of course not because it would give them bad publicity and a bad reputation to their fans. So I am tuning off on this one. She should’ve known better than to curse at a person who wasn’t a fan because if I were a celebrity, I know I would never do that and I would just continue on with my life. Also the other effect of this was that Miley LIED and said she never cursed at a fan. Now people, is it appropriate for her to be saying that when obviously there was kids there in the video watching as well? Is it a good role model to show to younger Hannah Montana fans this example?
