The ‘Twilight’ star — and new face of DKNY — was in NYC’s Times Square Dec. 22 for the unveiling of her DKNY billboard. Check out that body…in her hairstyle!

Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson styled Ashley Greene‘s strands for the event and he tells YOU how to re-create the look at home! Keep reading for his step-by-step tutorial.

• For full-bodied sexy waves that are modern, super cool and downtown chic like Ashley’s here, start off with wet hair spraying build it directly at the scalp and few sprays throughout the rest of the hair. Next, apply hair sheets styling from scalp to ends.

• Blow dry using your fingers until hair is 80% dry, then use a small to medium sized round brush to smooth the hair and also to give volume at the roots.

• To create the waves, I used a curling iron, prepping hair first with tame it shine lotion. It’s important to always use a product like this before curling or flat ironing hair. If you have shorter hair, use a smaller barreled curling iron.

• To finish, I lightly sprayed Ashley’s hair with beautiful hold hairspray.

This look would make a great holiday hairstyle!
