Kris Humphries finally signed a new contract with the New Jersey Nets — and he couldn’t be happier!

“Kris is very happy to be back with the New Jersey Nets and plans to focus all of his attention on this season to prove that last years great season wasn’t a fluke,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.

“He really wants to have an amazing season with no distractions so he can get the longer contract he desires. This is one big step so he can move forward from his tumultuous last year,” the insider adds.
