Fresh off his 72 day marriage from Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries is about to be re-signed with his NBA team

We bet Kris Humphries is relieved! Between his failed marriage to Kim Kardashian and the NBA lockout the past several months, his life was falling apart. However, sources tell Yahoo! Sports the 26-year-old basketball pro is about to be signed for a one-year contract with his team, the New Jersey Nets.

Even though he was hoping for a $10 million multi-year contract, Kris will reportedly settle for a $7-8 million deal, sources said. He’s reportedly expected to sign the deal sometime today and participate in the preseason game against the New York Knicks tomorrow.

Do you think Kris is happy to be re-signed to his team of the past two years?

You really make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be really something which I think I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very wide for me. I am taking a look ahead in your next publish, I’ll try to get the grasp of it!

It amazes me see on this kardashians run on this web site and talk nonsense. Kris will get more money next year period. They want Dwight Howard in the team so they have to preserve enough cap space to acquire him. Some of you are so ignorant that you are just like the kardashians with no education to understand things. You are so jealous of Kris. He has talent and does not destroy others to get his way. The kardashians should deal with that. Why was Lamar odom signed for a year for $8.9 million. Of course he wanted a long term contract but because of cap space space they had to do that. Kris is still young and has many years in the NBA.His ppt last year was 10.3 and Dwight Howard was 12.4. Get your facts straight before you write on this topic imbeciles.

Some of you have no knowledge of basketball. Kris Humphries wanted a long term contract. He only got a 1 year contract. Kris is not an NBA star, he is an average player on a crappy team. All the NBA stars and players that matter were signed weeks ago.

even though it’s a one year contract, how many players get paid 8 million a season?

Uh it’s a one year contract. That’s not exactly good and they just did it because they can’t get Dwight Howard now. When they do next year Kris is going to have to find a new team.

Hooray for you Kris H. Do what you do best and don’t give a second thought about Kim or any of the Kardashians. We all make mistakes in life so I hope you have learned from this.

Thank God. That is okay for now because of the difficulties teams were having related to the divorce. He signed for $8 million a year contract. He will get much better after a year in the range of $40 + million. Hurray and there is no Kim to distract him for now. Kris focus on the game for now and became the best at it and let your distractors or those who tried to bring your down fail. You have talent which Kim and her family will never have. She will watch your success for along time to came while hers will be gone before the end of 2012. Bonne a nee’ . ( have a prosperous year in 2012). I speak French so I like to add a little French word sometimes. Aurevior.

Do any of you watch basketball? He wasn’t having problems getting signed because of the divorce. He was having problems getting signed because HE’S NOT VERY GOOD.

He will not get a 40+ mil contract. Please watch the game before you comment.

Kris Humphries signed a 1 year contract. He is not signing a contract for 40 million. Kris has been in the NBA for years and still doesn’t have a long term contract with a team. He is not pulling in millions like: Lebron, Carmelo, Kobe, Derrick Rose, etc.

obviously he isn’t an all star like lebron or carmelo, but getting 8 million as a back up this year is a pretty good deal considering his skills. and in the future he can probably stick around in the nba, with a lower pay though, since he is a good rebounder and provides energy coming off the bench
