Jailed 'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Could Spend Christmas Behind Bars!

Amber is currently battling the court after her probation officer alleged that Amber violated the terms of her probation.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been thrown in jail again. HollyBaby.com spoke with the Madison County Jail in Indiana and they confirmed to us that Amber is currently in their custody.

On Nov. 21, Amber’s probation officer filed a paper with the court alleging that Amber violated most of the terms of her probation.

The notice states that Amber failed “to behave well in society” by taking “substantial steps to commission of the offenses of battery and public intoxication” on Nov. 18. She has yet to get her GED or complete six months of “anger control and evaluation classes.” Amber still needs to pay the fees of her probation, and reportedly has not created an “IRS qualified educational fund” for her 3-year-old daughter Leah in the amount of $10,000.

Amber is due in court on Jan. 13 when a judge with decide how to procede concerning her violations. If Amber does not or can not bail out, she will be behind bars through the holidays.

Amber was initially placed on probation after she was found guilty on charges of Domestic Battery for beating up her baby daddy Gary Shirley.

I so hope Amber can straighten her life out. Her daughter needs her mother as well as her father.

If she violated the terms of her probation then she needs to stay in jail until she goes before the judge, no bail she be granted her. Gary has been granted custody of Leah so I’m hoping the judge gives her time in jail, no more probation. Something is seriously wrong with Amber. She has so much hatred in her. I hope she can get the help she needs.
