Her fans mean the world to her, but Selena was absolutely right to head home once she heard the news — she’s got her priorities straight.
Selena Gomez‘s mother Mandy tragically miscarried on Dec. 16, and even with two concerts on her schedule, Selena cancelled her appearances and went straight home to support her family. I think she absolutely made the right decision, proving once again her strength as a role model.
Selena, 19, was so devastated by the news that she cancelled her Dec. 17 concert in Chicago and Dec. 18 date in Seattle, E! News reports.
Although many celebs are too caught up in the pursuit of fame and wealth to cancel a high-profile pair of gigs, Selena has proven time and time again how much she loves her family. We’re sure her mother Mandy, 35, is thrilled that even though Selena’s a big star, she rushed home to support her — that’s love. I can’t think of anyone who would fault her for that, and I’m sure she will make it up to her fans in Chicago and Seattle.
We will have Selena and her family in our hearts this holiday season.

And that is why i soooo love her , its her kindness that makes her more beautiful. Its sad how others are hating on an amazing person, they say she is pretentious trying to be a goody two shoes. there is nothing wrong with being a good girl. sadly that is something a lot of teens right now forget, because of all the sl*tty type of girls they look up to. but what you really are always shows and after all these years she is still the sweet and kind girl now if that is pretending, well she can receive an oscar everyday.Seriously?no one could hold a lie that long and it goes to show that she is really kind.a footnote to youth: NOTHING IS WRONG WITH STAYING TO BE A GOOD GIRL. cause being a bad girl is soooooo wannabe.

Screw the concerts. Selena’s family had an emergency…those concerts had to be cancelled.
