Kim said a recent humanitarian trip truly moved her — do you think she’s changed for the better after she dumped Kris?

Kim Kardashian escaped public shaming after her botched union to Kris Humphries by fleeing to Haiti with Kris Jenner, lending a hand with Maria Bello‘s charity We Advance. Now she’s opening up about her life-changing experience.

Kim, 31, spoke with E! News about the work and said it was incredibly fulfilling.

“It was such a great journey, such a great experience to see, you know, what has gone on there since the earthquake and how much work really still needs to be done,” she said. “The pride of the people in Haiti is something that I don’t think you or I have ever seen before. And the country is a beautiful place. I just can’t wait to go back and bring my whole family.”

I think it is disgusting that people can actually side and agree and feed into this no talent person called Kim Kardashian. The fact that there are people that “look up to this person” while she became known for her sex tape, marries for money and more publicity, and will do nothing to try to make herself look perfect and innocent when she is obviously not makes me think of what our society will become. People need to wake up and realize that this person is absolute trash and is a disgusting example of the kind of role model for our younger generation.

Call me delusional but I think she has changed. I don’t think the world will ever know whether her wedding was a sham (until someone in her inner circle sells out and writes a tell-all) but I have been in a situation where I was surrounded by people who were suffering immensely and it does melt even the coldest of hearts. Her intentions for going to Haiti now when the quake happened nearly 2 years ago is questionable but the fact that she went should be lauded vice chastised.
There is so much suffering in the world that I think the resentment towards the Kardashians comes because they are so out of tune with it. Bragging about making $65 million in a year or spending $65k on jewelry while most of the world is living from paycheck-to-paycheck or depleting their savings account to make ends meet is just wrong. I think they need to do the world a favor and stop publishing the stories about their wealth and good deeds.
Actions speak louder than words and it is especially resonant in charity work. Then and only then, will it seem genuine.

Well said. I agree…ACTION. It seems like the only charitable work they are doing now is for PR because they do get so much press. There’s a lot to be said for the silent saviors in the world.

Kim is the most selfish, self center ego maniac woman. Everything she does is for publicity..it is so sad that she uses other people’s pain for her advantage. She should learn from many people that help others in need and they don’t have E! cameras following them so she can portray as a given person. Kim and her mother are overexposed , resulting 100 percent fake and disgusting human beings.

a check could have done more if she had not gone for publicity. Of course there are many Americans who have lost their jobs and homes. . . cash won’t hurt here either.

I’m not trying to take anything away from Kris or Kim if this is legitimate. I can’t imagine how the Haitians are struggling…so sad…I just want people to realize that there are americans struggling and in poverty in our own country! Kim spent $65,000 on jewelry…wow. That $ could have changed many peoples lifes. I’m not judging them in anyway but they just got lucky do they really work hard enough to earn $65 million…..there are many hardworking people out here struggling…. I can’t even afford to buy my grandbaby a Candyland game and a pair of shoes this year. I have been working hard since childhood. I raised 2 girls on my own. I have been online and out everyday for weeks looking for work but haven’t found a job. I’m educated and I have a good resume. Its so sad….I can’t catch a break because I’m over qualified. Enough of the sob story, everyone has one these days……but Hollywood don’t forget your own…many children in this country go to bed hungry, or go without electricity and are living in poverty.
