Rooney Mara attended the Dec. 14 premiere of her latest film, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, with her sister, Kate Mara, by her side. Rooney’s pale complexion, bright red lips and jet black hair is stark, yet chic and classic. Kate’s strawberry-red hair looks fabulous with her bronzed skin, peach blush and rosy lips.

Stop pushing these two in our throats. Rooney’s role in The Social Network was a “filler” role – not essential to the story, nothing to brag about but it was a way of introducing her to audiences so we knew her when The Girl with the Dragon came around. As far as fashion sense is concerned, Rooney’s is all because of the The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. Every outfit follows the theme of the movie and we know that those are not her choices. We know they are from wealthy backgrounds but still they have to earn their stripes, and they have not.
