J.P. tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he understands what Ali and Roberto went through as a couple in the public eye.
Relationships are always hard, especially when you meet on a reality show. Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky broke up with her fiance Roberto Martinez on Nov. 21, 18 months after they got engaged in Fiji. Ali blamed the split on their explosive fights and the different goals they had in life. J.P. Rosenbaum, who is engaged to Bachelorette Ashley Hebert, feels the former couple’s pain — but he hopes that they will both be able to move on and find love again.
“I just want them both to be happy,” J.P. told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Life & Style magazine‘s holiday party presented by EOS and Alizé at STK in NYC on Dec. 13. ”I met Ali. She’s a sweetheart. I’ve spoken to Roberto, great guy. Hopefully they’ll find happiness elsewhere.”
J.P. understands why their relationship may not have worked out. “I know what they go through. I can speak to that,” he said. “It’s like dating. Dating never works out. Odds are against you from the start, so everybody is so surprised when it doesn’t work out because it’s supposed to work out. They were on a show. It’s life.”
He added, “Things don’t always work out the way they’re supposed to.”
