The three girls of the original cast of ‘RHONY’ tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they miss their former cast mates that were fired by Bravo.
The Real Housewives of New York City are deep in the midst of filming season five … only more than half of the original cast including Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop were fired before filming began. Now Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are working with an all-new cast and admit that they really miss their old cast mates.
“It’s different. The girls are different so it’s a totally different experience,” LuAnn told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Life & Style magazine‘s holiday party presented by EOS and Alizé at STK in NYC on Dec. 13. ”I always miss the girls. We worked a long time together. You miss people you’re comfortable with.”
Ramona must miss fighting with Jill. “It’s sad not to have all the girls that I grew up on the show with,” she admitted to us. “We all did this together. But change can be good.”
Sonja agreed that she misses her old friends as well.
LuAnn is learning to battle the blondes on her own without Jill by her side — and Ramona misses Alex the most.
When asked about the new girls — Carole Radziwill, a distant relative of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, fashion designer Heather Thomson and Wall Street wife Aviva Drescher – Ramona replied, “We’re not allowed to talk about the new girls.”
“It’s going to be a great show [though],” Ramona promised. But BFFs, are you worried that RHONY just isn’t going to be the same without Jill, Alex, Kelly and Cindy on board to stir up the drama?
