We’re so happy to hear Giuliana Rancic is already feeling better after her breast cancer surgery yesterday!
Giuliana Rancic has bravely shared her battle with breast cancer with her friends and fans across the world, and now we’re happy to report the 37-year-old entertainment host successfully underwent her double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery Dec. 13.
“G is doing really well,” her husband, Bill Rancic, told E! News. “Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result.”
Giuliana — who is planning on being back to work on New Year’s Eve, when she’ll be co-hosting the NIVEA Kiss Platform in New York City with Bill — is already on the mend.
“She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes,” Bill said.
Giuliana wanted to relay a message to all of those who sent well wishes her way. “I want to thank all the viewers and fans for their support and prayers. The tweets and notes have not gone unnoticed. I am very grateful,” she said.
