There are going to be a few new faces in Phoenix when The Lying Game returns Jan. 2, but the one we’re most looking forward to is Charisma Carpenter as Char’s (Kirsten Prout) estranged aunt Ann! caught up with Alexandra Chando and Blair Redford at ABC Family’s Winter Wonderland event Dec. 4 in NYC for the scoop on what Charisma will bring to the show, as well as what viewers can expect from Ethan and Emma’s rocky relationship.

While Alexandra couldn’t give too much away about Charisma’s character, she was more than happy to gush about working with her.

“She is very sweet,” Alexandra told us. “We only did one scene together, and it was kind of in passing, but I think we’re going to have more in the future. She’s awesome, she’s great.”

As for whether or not Emma can keep bad-boy Ethan from ending up in juvie remains unclear.

“When is Ethan not getting himself intro trouble?” Blair responded to our question about Ethan’s future legal woes. “I think you can expect a lot more trouble from him when the show comes back.”
