Kim’s doctor tells her that she has to go to the hospital to deliver her son because she’s developing preeclampsia — dangerously high levels of blood pressure caused by pregnancy.
Pain is the name of the game for The Real Housewives of Atlanta during the Dec. 11 episode. Kim Zolciak goes through a very intense labor before finally welcoming the birth of her son. Sheree Whitfield gets a surprise that turns her life upside down. And, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey take a questionable business trip to NYC.
Kim and her baby daddy Kroy Biermann head to the doctor’s office to find out what’s going on with her pregnancy. Dr. Hood, Kim’s On/Gyn orders Kim to go to the hospital to get induced because he is fearful that she is developing preeclampsia.
At the hospital, Kim goes into labor. She gets a epidural, but the pain of the contractions hardly seem to subside. Kroy silently freaks out as he watches all that’s going on. “The contraction is killing me,” she complains.
Despite the concern, mom and baby are fine. Kim finally introduces us to her new son KJ. Kim brags that little KJ was born at “eight pounds even.” “I feel complete,” she gushes.
Meanwhile, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey fly to NYC for some business meetings.
Cynthia’s goes to see Russell Simmons, who is ironically her ex-boyfriend. She explains to him that she wants to do a model search. He shoots down the idea. He also advises Cynthia to change the game plan for her modeling school in Atlanta. He suggests that she call it an acting school instead of a modeling school, but Cynthia doesn’t seem to agree with his opinion.
NeNe meets with a potential business partner, but the man seems to have other plans on his mind. It appears that he is romantically interested in NeNe and almost runs the meeting as if it were a date. He tries to feed her and even whips out a Tiffany’s box to give her. NeNe freaks out.
But when she opens the box, it’s only a pen. He gives it to her so that she can sign her first “million dollar deal,” explains the partner. But that isn’t the last surprise. He then gives her an expensive pair of shoes and has a singer serenade them on a private deck. Could this relationship turn into more than a business deal?
Back in Atlanta, Sheree is contemplating taking her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, to court for child support. But, Bob serves Sheree first. He is asking for a reduction in the amount of child support that he has pay.
