The model’s miraculous healing process continues — we’re so happy for her and her family.

Lauren Scruggs‘ struggles after her horrific airplane accident have captivated the nation, and now there’s good news from the Texas hospital where she’s recovering!

Lauren, 23, has regained partial use of some key muscles on her face, her family reveals on their CaringBridge blog.

“Earlier in the week, we requested prayer for Lauren’s facial nerve, and it appears prayers have been answered,” they wrote. “Lauren is able to smile and lift both eyebrows on her own, such a miracle! Please continue to pray for this recovery, as well as her left eye. Lauren’s sweet spirit continues to shine through every day, reminding us of the miracle that she is!”

We’re so thrilled for her — this is amazing news!
