Disney Channel Already Talking To 'X Factor' Castoff Rachel Crow

Do YOU think Rachel Crow would be great on the Disney Channel?

Simon Cowell said it first, and now, The X Factor‘s sweetheart, Rachel Crow, is already being sought after by the Disney Channel, reports TMZ.

“Now that she has been eliminated off X-Factor, a general meeting is planned with her and Disney Channel executives soon,” a source at the network said.

The Disney execs reportedly want to discuss TV, movie and radio opportunities for Rachel sometime before the end of the month.

HollywoodLife.com has been able to confirm through sources close to the situation that a meeting WILL indeed take place between Disney and Rachel.

We’ve said all along Rachel would be the perfect girl for Disney or Nickelodeon. Do YOU think it would be a good career move?

Think all this talk of her not being able to take criticism is utter rubbish. She was not criticised on xfactor, she was incorrectly voted off after Nicole cracked under the pressure. I’ve seen grown men and women, on both idols and xfactor use abusive language, break down in tears after not making it etc. She is a young girl, why should she just automatically be able to handle pressure or criticism? We have seen many actors fail to handle pressure, some of them even doing things to themselves, drugs and so on.

To the poster claiming that why should kids follow a tantrum throwing 13 year old? If your kid, or any kid for that matter, has not thrown a tantrum, then ill be seriously amazed. In fact, look at most American teenagers, and how they throw tantrums if they are unable to get what they want from mommy and daddy.

To the poster claiming her mom said she promised her. Again, its people like you, that feel the need to just say something without having properly listened to what was said. Her mom said things would be okay, and Rachel said to her mom, “you promise me?”

And to the poster calling her ugly, again, its uncalled for. That has got nothing to do with the topic here. She is by no means ugly, but its people like you who feel the need to be disrespectful just for the sake of it. 13 years old, and she was brave enough to take on the challenge of xfactor, and made it that far, showed that she is going to be a star, if she aint one already. For her sake, I hope she finds a manager who will look after her, along with her parents.

I personally think Rachel did a brilliant job on Xfactor. Simon can be truly proud of this little lady. Unlike some (points down) She has yet to say one harsh word against anybody, anything; no complaints from her. She does her mother proud. She cried from the stress and shock. She was tired, thought she had let her mother down–and nobody prepares a 13 year old for ‘things might not turn out the way you wish’. But she is pure star material and can go very very far with her career. Disney is no fool, and the offers are coming in, and is not the only one with their eye on her. Her post Xfactor interviews have all been great and held with great dignity and humor. I am equally impressed by her, if not more, since she left the show. Let’s face it, America, loves Rachel!

“Do you think Rachel should do Disney or Nickelodeon?”

What’s a “Yes” or “No” question suppose to mean here?

Good job KIRSTIN BENSON

?Have your kids idolize a “tantrum throwing” 13 yr old? Shame on you lady! If what you witnessed was a tantrum, I’d hate to be your kid! Come on, She was heart broken. Saying she’s, ‘too young for the pressure’,or ‘mother should have taught her…’. Nonsense, How do you handle pressure? Do your kids learn the lesson’s of life in front of millions of people. Give this girl credit for what she accomplished on the X, ALOT!Please don’t judge her, or her family, for
the 5 minutes of her,”It’s really over” reaction. You’d breakdown and let go to!

Yes! It’s networking and adding to the resume. Rachel Crow is far too talented to get pigeon-holed. I see movie directors coming to her. I see her doing broadway. I see her having a platinum cd. Rachel has more talent in baby toe than Miley Cyrus has as a whole. She has the potential to be the greatest and longest lasting mega star in her generation. She needs to keep ties with the business and keep her name out there … while she works on her music.

No! The last thing I want my kids to idolize is a tantrum-throwing 13yr old. I get that x factor may be too much pressure for a 13yr old to handle, but her mother should’ve known better before joining or at least taught her that there are no guarantees of her winning and she should give it all she has win or lose. So again, NO!

just because she broke does not mean she cant handle critisism. It is natural for a 13 yr old to feel what Rachel felt. It’s her dream, and she felt that it was over for me. She stood up and calm herself down. She is so talented and more matured than other 13 yr old bratt. God bless you Rachel

Actually Simon and her mom had to go on stage to calm her down, she didn’t calm herself down. But she’s not all to blame. Her mother should have prepared her for the worst. It’s obvious she didn’t do this as Rachel was screaming “you promised me”.

That’s wrong. Her mother was consoling her, saying everything is going to be okay. Then, Rachel said “Mommy, you promise me? You promise?” You have to watch it more than once to catch what’s she actually saying.

Don’t do it, your career will go down the toilet. The only reason Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato made it because their shows were before 2011 (meaning the shows now suck.) They have no more comedic writes, now that Suite Life, Wizards, Hannah, and Sonny with a Chance is gone.
