Kim’s heartbroken ex took to ‘Good Morning America’ to answer questions about the wedding and what went wrong!
Kris Humphries has been quiet since his split from Kim Kardashian, but he gave his first interview since the shattered union on the Dec. 9 episode of Good Morning America. Although he tried to divert ANY mention of his divorce by talking instead about the NBA or his charitable work, he still said a few telling things!
Kris, 26, said Kim, 31, can talk about the split all she wants and it doesn’t bother him.
“I think that if people know me they know who I am and what I stand for,” he said. “I’m a fun guy and I don’t play into the gossip. That’s life.”
Also, he said he’s not sure if having a wedding out of the spotlight would have put less pressure on the union.
“It’s the only time i’ve been married,” he said. “But I’ve been in NBA since I’ve been 19, so it’s on a different level.”
Overall, Kris said he’s more focused on his career than personal drama.
“For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve gotta move forward,” he said. “I’m really focused on basketball and other things will take care of themselves.”
