Spoiler alert! Zac and Michelle smooch at the end of ‘New Year’s Eve’ and the young heartthrob admits he practiced before they locked lips.
Zac Efron confessed to Jimmy Fallon that kissing older woman Michelle Pfeiffer, 53, in New Year’s Eve was a big deal.
“I wanted it to be smooth. This was a big moment for me,” Zac told Jimmy on Late Night. “I was incredibly nervous about it. So like I was practicing the night before how I was going to execute this kiss.”
Jimmy wondered how exactly he practiced for the liplock, and Zac said with his hand.
But it didn’t go exactly as planned. “Right before my big, great kiss with Michelle Pfeiffer, I go in and lean in for the dip and confetti is falling down and a giant piece of confetti lands right inside my mouth, inches from her face.”
Zac explained he spit the confetti out before finishing the kiss and “it was still amazing.”
We can’t wait to see Zac and Michelle’s chemistry in New Year’s Eve!
