Demi is so down-to-earth — she created her newest orange-red hair color out of a box!

In an interview, Demi Lovato revealed the secret behind her new shade, saying, “This is box color. I did it myself.” The change came as quite a shock to her friends. “[My friends] showed up the next day and I was like, ‘Do you like it?’ And everyone was like, oh my God thank you for not telling me that you’re going to do this the night before,” Demi explains.
