Cody tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively whether he & Kylie would double date with Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez — plus, he talks about his new album, doll & holiday plans.
Australian super star Cody Simpson and Kylie Jenner have been getting super close recently, and the 14-year-olds walked their first red carpet together Dec. 7 at an event for Popstar! magazine held at Italian restaurant Buca di Beppo in LA. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Cody on Dec. 8 at the launch of his new doll from The Wish Factory at Toys “R” Us in NYC’s Times Square — and in our exclusive interview, Cody set the record straight about his relationship with Kylie.
“Kylie is just a good friend of mine,” Cody revealed. “We met recently and we’ve hung out a few times since then. She’s a good friend of my sister’s, too.”
Cody told us he isn’t ready for a girlfriend yet: “We’ve been seen in public a few times, and people love to assume that we’re dating and we’re in a relationship. But I live a busy life, and it’d be hard to give a girl the time. I got a while to go.”
But just because Cody isn’t dating Kylie, that doesn’t mean he’s shooting down the idea of double-dating with Justin Bieber, 17, and Selena Gomez, 19.
“I don’t want to say no to that,” he said. “We’ll see.”
But for right now, Cody is just looking forward to the holiday season.
“[I have] a few weeks off in LA — going to be chilling with my family, got some friends coming over to hang out,” he dished. “Time off to chill with my family is cool.”
Then it’s back to work in 2012!
“I’m going to be touring next year when my album comes out — a big tour up in the summer,” he said.
And be sure to keep an eye out for the new dolls Cody will be adding to his line next year.
“One of them will sing ‘On My Mind,’” Cody told us. “But I can’t give away too much yet.”

I don’t think they would make a cute couple .. but if it would make Cody happy then by all means ….. I wish he was with me he’s only 1 month older … But if him begining with her would make him happy through life haters shouldn’t hate if ur a true fan u would want him to be happy …. Love u Cody !!!! For one, they’re only 14 & 15..
And second, they’re both very busy.
