In the January issue of ‘Marie Claire,’ Angelina opens up about being ‘unsocial’ and admits her lack of BFFs. Do you feel bad for her?
Angelina Jolie appears to have it all: a hot man, healthy kids, beauty, fame, money AND the opportunity to make an impact on world peace. But the one thing the 36-year-old says she doesn’t have is a group of girlfriends by her side.
“Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just … I stay at home a lot,” Angelina tells Marie Claire. ”I’m just not very social. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.”
I think it’s sad that Angelina doesn’t have a lot of girlfriends. I definitely couldn’t imagine my life without mine! Not to mention that Brad Pitt‘s, ex Jennifer Aniston, 42, has a ton of confidantes, including Courteney Cox, 47, Sheryl Crow, 49 and Chelsea Handler, 36.
So who does Angie confide in when needs somebody to talk to?
“I’ll talk to my family,” she tells the mag. “I talk to Brad. … But I don’t know, I don’t have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to.”

Angelina is a very mysterious individual. Insecure with an lot of emotional issues. She is not warm and inviting to others who could be friends to her. As her emotional issues escalate she will likely become more reclusive, as did Garbo. She has terrible temper tantrams which are sometimes violent. … and is supposedly not a stable mother. Her mother kept her locked in total isolation in a white room during the time of her formative years. She had no contact with anyone but a nanny. How could she not be affected by this strange childhood. I doubt she is a very likable person. My guess is Brad will eventually split.

I was not searching for Angelina Jolie – I was searching for Jennifer Aniston and AJ keeps popping up – come on Bonnie – what is up with this – I am not interested in reading about AJ – she does not understand the mechanics of people – a little down town from her face, her kids and her hubby would be great – so please bring back Jennifer stories – thanks. She doesn’t have any girlfriends because of the following reasons: the woman is crazy, immoral and has too much issues (drug addict, did her brother, posed nude at 16, wore a necklace made out of blood, used 2 cut herself), buy her eldest kid a knife collection (just like she did when she was 9), she’s open to let her children to live with their boyfriends/girlfriends while their still under age, she might steal their men as well! No real friend will allow a person like that into their lives!!

It’s not sad! I don’t have girlfriends, and i’m very happy with that! She can’t have girlfriends because they’re all too jealous, like mine were. She’s a beautiful woman! Jen Aniston is pathetic.
What the H—- does Jen Aniston have to do with this article. None of it pertains to Jennifer. Leave her be.

No offense but the other poster had it right and you’re the one who didn’t quite see it all. At the beginning aj said she has a few friends but she isn’t social with them, doesn’t do a lot with them, stays at home a lot, and talks to bp. She should have just said no b/c that’s not a friend. But that’s what happens when somebody has a well-deserved reputation of not being able to keep their legs closed.

Um, that is not what she said. Angelina was quoted as saying she has no girlfriends in the movie industry. She was papped a few days ago with some women who weren’t famous.

Itis amazing how you turned this whole story in to a negative which is what evrybody predicted. She never said she had NO girlfriends but if you were Angelina Jolie who would you trust to confide in. And she does have good friends just not girlfriends. Jane Goodall, Marianne Pearl, Holly Goline and people she can trust. So quit you hen. You are such a hen it is appraent. Wow Bonnie you’re stupid. You can’t write a quote that she doesn’t have a lot of female friends then claim Angelina is friendless. She is seen with female friends like Marianne Pearl, Gwen Stefani, and non-celebrity women. Also hasn’t it occurred to you that she has male friends? And please growup. I didn’t really have any girlfriends that I hung out with when I was married, working and raising two kids. I didn’t have time. I totally understand her not having girlfriends.
When you work long hours, and are there for your kids and partner there isn’t much time left.
