Leah admits she wanted to go to marriage counseling with Corey to try to fix their problems.
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer may have been the one to file for divorce from her ex-husband Corey Simms after six months of marriage, but Leah didn’t want to go through with finalizing the divorce.
“I was still trying to make it work,” Leah says, according to Us magazine.
Leah wanted to try and work on her problems with Corey. “I wanted to go through counseling, but he didn’t,” she admits.
Leah didn’t want to lose him without a fight. “I wanted the divorce to stop,” she recalls.
Leah and Corey finalized their divorce in June. She met her new, now live-in boyfriend Jeremy Calvert one month later.
