Kailyn and Chelsea Houska reveal why being a teen mom is not glamorous at all in a new interview on ‘Good Morning America.’
Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska don’t want other young women to follow in their footsteps and get knocked up as teenagers. Despite being celebrities now that they are cast members in the hit MTV reality series, they both warn that it’s not a glamorous lifestyle.
“I think it’s really important to notice that in one episode, one of us is crying, one of us is fighting with their boyfriend, one of them doesn’t have money to buy diapers, one of them is about to go to jail,” Kailyn shared on Good Morning America Dec. 6. “There’s no way that any of that is glamorous. It’s so hard. I don’t think people really think about that when they’re saying that it’s glamorous.
Chelsea agreed that being a Teen Mom isn’t easy. “I always wanted my family together,” she confessed. “[Be] married when you have a child. When you have a kid young, you just can’t always give them every opportunity.”
Kailyn is always battling with her baby daddy Jo Rivera. “Right now we’re in good place stable to co-parent,” she admitted. But it takes “lot of hard work. We’re still a roller coaster.”
And Chelsea still can’t get over the fact that her on-and-off boyfriend Adam Lind called their 2-year-old daughter Aubrey a mistake. “That was right after she was born,” she recalled. “I try not to think about that too much anymore. It still hurts.”
But while being a Teen Mom has it’s hardships and the cameras add even more stress, Kailyn and Chelsea still love their little ones more than anything.
“He’s good,” Kailyn gushed of her son Isaac. “He’s almost two, walking and running.”
Aubrey “turned two in September,” added Chelsea. “She’s hilarious.”

They make alot more money than most people do..and lets not forget kailyn gets free housing and both her and chelsea get medicaid. None of them work hard! Chelsea is always on the couch and kailyn takes vacations, gets her nails done, highlights in her hair and lets not forget she is always stuffing her face. There r so many families who r homeless and have to go to a soup kitchen for food. Give me a break they dont always have money for diapers and their lives arent glamorous. Mtv and dr.drew should get rid of the teen moms after two seasons. The first season is always good but then they get money and next thing u know they have fake boobs!
