HollywoodLife.com has exclusive details about Alec Baldwin’s temper tantrum on a flight Dec. 6 — he actually terrified the passengers!
Alec Baldwin was removed from an American Airlines flight headed from New York City to Los Angeles and after yelling at a flight attendant, getting up from his seat when the plane was readying to takeoff and slamming the bathroom door!
The drama began even before Baldwin boarded the flight. “Alec was already upset in American Airlines Admiral’s Lounge because the flight was delayed for a half an hour”, a source tells HollywoodLife.com. ” He was angry when he boarded the plane.” Then once on board, he became more agitated an eyewitness tells us.
“He started yelling at the flight attendant and wanted her name. After the plane had pulled away, he got out of his seat and went to the kitchen and was giving the attendant a hard time. Then he went into the bathroom and started slamming the door really loudly. They turned the plane around and he was escorted off,” relates the eyewitness.
Of course, in the aftermath, Baldwin has claimed that he was only playing a word game on his phone and that the flight attendant harassed him.
Well that may have been Alec’s version of the story but HollywoodLife.com‘s eyewitness says passengers on the plane were incredibly relieved that he was removed from the plane because he was scaring them, although some were extremely upset because they were going to miss their connections. Returning to the gate to offload Baldwin, made the flight another half hour late.
“On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait,” former MTV COO & President Michael J. Wolf tweeted, from the plane.
After he was taken off, the pilot went on the speaker and announced there was a problem. The best part? Toward the end of the flight, 30 Rock came onto the plane’s TVs and everyone started booing.
Adds the eyewitness, “I’ve seen bad behavior on a plane before, but this took the cake! Thank goodness it didn’t happen in the air.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers — was Alec right to be upset?
